Beaded Hedgehog fidget - Knit AND crochet
Beaded Hedgehog ~ a Combination Pattern of Knit & Crochet, do you do both? This pattern’s for you. Read description. An adorable Fidgit Toy!
I like both Knitting AND Crocheting. I think the different stitches work for different projects. In this case I like the crocheted body but preferred the knitted, smoother face. I know there are others out there that do both crafts, hoping you’ll like this pattern that incorporates both.
This cute Beaded Hedgie pattern is a combination of knit AND crochet, and consists of a crocheted body with beads (details of how to easily add the beads are part of the pattern), simple crocheted ears, and a knitted face (simple stockinette stitch -knit one row, purl one row) so you need to be able to do both techniques. There is simple seaming at the end. I include a link to a youtube video showing how to simply sew the ears on. After making the first one, they are like potato chips, very addicting. I am making 16 of these for my gr-daughters class who will be reading a book about hedgehogs. I can knock out 6 or so a day and that is not even full-time crafting.
A GrEaT way to use SCRAPS!
